Beginners Guide for PUBG Players to Start on the Right Foot
In case you have only now succumbed to peer pressure and media
hype, deciding to dive into PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, then this PUBG
Beginners Guide should be the first weapon in your arsenal. It could also very
easily be your ticket into a chicken dinner!
There is a widespread belief that abilities will beat strategy
and tactics in PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds so that only a few people consider
PUBG in terms of strategy and tactics. That is the case only for the top
players, the Twitch PUBG experts who've spent the past years in PUBG, CS: GO,
and other similar shooters. The rest of us mere mortals need to pay decent
attention to approaches if we would like a shot at winning the Battle Royale
matches.

Beginners Guide for PUBG Players to Start on the Right Foot |
Situational
(Tactical) Awareness
Both in the military as well as in several types of coordinated
sports and games that the situational (sometimes also known as tactical)
awareness is the key to victory. It follows that the participant has to know
about her or his surroundings all of the time, about the possible covers,
hazardous paths, the most likely direction the enemy will probably arrive from.
The first thing in a PUBG game you want to be aware of would be the flight
trajectory of the plane. The very best method to do that is to be aware of the
quadrant where the plane comes across the map and calculate where it will
leave. When you land and also the initial circle seems, you may make a very
educated guess where the majority of players is by taking into account how far
they can jump out of the line of flight and what their direction is towards the
recently formed circle.
There are many settlements and compounds across the map, so be
aware of what the most likely route for players will be. There will be
chokepoints which will make for excellent ambush points, but only as long as
they're presently in the course towards the center of decreasing circles. Nobody
likes campers or getting ambushed, but when the enemy approaches the settlement
along with all the doors open and no one else in sight, they will usually keep
running, thinking everyone has gone. If you aren't that skilled with
skirmishing on open ground, this is your chance to get kills.
See
Your Back
Make certain nobody may creep up from behind you or try to keep
the chance of this as low as possible.
When a ring is formed, the majority of players will operate
towards the middle of this circle, after the helping straight line that's shown
on the mini-map. Run towards the edge, be certain that the position is clear,
then return to the direction in which you came out (effectively turning your
back to the middle of the shrinking circle). If you are patient, it is easy to
pick off latecomers which are trying to outrun the gloomy wall. Everything is
on your side and odds are you will manage to kill off the enemy without much
trouble. If you linger near the border of the circle, there is always danger
that the upcoming inner circle will spawn way too far from you and you will
need to run far to get to security, but this is just a part of the game.
Ride
the Edge of this Circle
The game is getting close to the finale, and the next inner
circle has emerged. Your safest and the best strategy is to ride the top border
of the circle. What does that mean? Observe the map and see where the existing
blue line is the nearest to the white line of the new circle; the wall will be
contracting the slowest in that part as you sweep to your left or right along
the shrinking edge, you may effectively flank enemy players who will mostly be
looking ahead of them, straight to the center of the new circle. People
impetuously rush off to the very middle of this circle, often to their deaths.
By occupying the middle, you're subjected to potential attacks from all sides.
When you ride the edge of this circle and attempt to contract together with the
wall, you can emphasize unsuspecting opponents and mind that other significant
principle of seeing your back.
Can
Not Be Trigger Happy
Shooting gives away your position, alerts both the person(s) you
are attacking, and brings others to your position. Many times I had buddies
fire a guy in a compound and knocking them down just to alert his whole group.
He'd be revived and treated up in no time and we found ourselves sitting 200
meters from several homes we could not possibly take over until the wall gets
us to proceed. Alternatively, we'd keep a low profile, allow the enemy team to
leave the homes and attack them at the open, where their opportunities are
non-existent. If you are playing alone, you might also not need to take each
time you find an enemy, particularly if they're engaged with somebody else.
Wait rather and see who'll remain alive; perhaps another shooter will reveal
himself or the winner of this duel will come over to loot the failure.
Sometimes it is good to have someone run before you like evaluation canaries
that were used once in mining shafts.
The
Weapon of Choice
At the early stages of PUBG, the silencer was an OP weapon,
driving people mad since they had a quite difficult time imagining from where
the shots are still coming. That has shifted significantly, and the majority of
players can tell exactly the direction and distance of this shooter, even when
he is using a suppressor. There are more and more people preferring
compensators into silencers, even at the end match. Whatever you do, don't be
afraid to take when the time is right just because you are not suppressed.
When starting, particularly if, in urban areas, you will grab an
SMG or a shotgun to clean houses. That will be substituted with some kind of
long-lived weapon, preferably a fully kitted out sniper having an x8 scope. But
as you approach the very end of this match, the x8 scope might eventually
become overkill and you want and you would want to switch down to x4 scope.
When possible, always keep one in the backpack. At the finale, the best combo
is an assault rifle with a red dot in addition to a sniper with an x4 scope.
PUBG
Vehicles
Especially on the larger Miramar map, the vehicles are a must
possess. Do not hesitate to use them and push directly into internal circles
only because of the sound you make. Bike and buggy are extremely fast, but
expose you to enemy fire a lot more than a UAZ or even a pickup. The additional
grade of the pickup is that it may serve as an excellent cover. If you
encounter an ambush and think you can't escape, then break and turn the ideal
side of the car to the attacker, then leap out and then use the car for a
cover. If the vehicle gets too damaged from enemy fire and threatens to
explode, fall back in a straight line to the enemy, keeping the car between
you, until you reach a safe distance of some 10 or 25 meters. When the car
stinks, return up to it and continue using it as cover.
Lone
Wolf gets the Chicken Dinner
While falling off in highly popular places such as The School,
Military base, Pecado and similar gives you a huge adrenaline kick, odds are
that you might easily die there or, even if you are playing on a staff, which
one or more teammates will die in the initial drop whilst frantically looking
for a weapon. It is frequently much safer to drop in less frequented places,
gather gear, and keep out of conflicts for as long as you can since
statistically the chances of you getting shot down growth with each experience
with the enemy during the game. This is particularly true for squads since it
is a great benefit to have all four members alive and geared up for the
struggle in the last portion of the sport as opposed to the teams lacking one
or more members.
Adapt
& Survive
Finally, the best advice you can get is the old marine mantra of
survival and adaptation. Observe every situation, decide on the best possible
relocation and do so, no matter the circumstances. Do not feel bad about
retreating out of a fight where you are outgunned or within a bad tactical
position. Camp in the dark corners of looted buildings if you're feeling your
shooting skills are no match for some other players. Avoid fights altogether if
you don't have the appropriate weapons for it. If you need to crawl and hide,
do this without hesitation. There is an infinite number of games won by men and
women who shot three, two or only one opponent.
After all, it's the chicken dinner that counts.
